We start with thick Italian vegetable-tanned leather and wet-mold it on wooden forms to take on the shape of the Apple laptop. After drying, it is cut precisely with dies and lined with light leather (usually grey, but the tan is lined in navy) and finished with a Lampo zipper. The back and front are the same, except for the logo on the front. European saddle-stitched by hand in our Bedford Hills studio.
